Scott Nason

Bass Guitar, Harmonica and Vocals

Scott

Born into a musical family, Scott's father was a touring machine with a big band. So it was no wonder that he (and most of his siblings) started playing trumpet as their first instrument.

Scott played the horn from 4th grade through college, where he made extra money on the side playing in a polka band. In that band (Laverne & the Starlites), he was asked to fill in on bass guitar for some of the Country & Western songs and that set his musical course on a whole new direction.

After exiting the Startlites, Scott made the decision to leave the trumpet behind and concentrate solely on the bass guitar. First with a Johnny Cash Tribute Band and then with a string of personal projects, culminating in his collaboration with David Payne - Physic Surgery.

Today, Scott still avidly writes and records his own music in his solo project - The Big Pizza Box.
